The L4V Van Alarm is the only 2-1 Thatcham-certified aftermarket van alarm system dedicated to light commercial vehicles.

Designed to offer complete cab and load area protection, our award-winning system is a professionally installed CAN-Bus van alarm that can be customised to suit individual or fleet security needs.

Cab Protection
Cab protection comes as standard with the L4V Van Alarm.
  • Battery Back-up Siren: A 120DB siren with anti-sabotage housing is installed within the engine bay. This system will remain active for some time should the battery be cut.
  • Door, Bonnet & Ignition Protection: The cab doors and bonnet are connected via the CAN system, triggering the alarm if either are opened without authorisation. Turning the key in the ignition whilst the system is active will also trigger the alarm.
  • Internal Sensors: Mounted within the cab, ultrasonic sensors detect movement within the interior, triggering the alarm if disrupted.
  • Visual Deterrent: A super-bright LED is mounted within the dashboard and a window sticker is provided, notifying attackers that the van has an active alarm system.
  • Factory Key Compatible: The L4V Van Alarm operates using the vehicle's factory key and central locking system.

 

 

Load Area Protection
With a range of additional sensors, anti-sabotage bracketry and sirens to pick and choose from, you can create your own alarm package to suit your need and budget.
  • Anti-Peel Sensors: Vehicle-specific brackets with electronic sensors are installed onto the van’s load area doors. These detect when an attacker attempts to 'peel' or fold down your doors and will trigger the alarm.
  • Load Area Sensors: Passive infrared (PIR) sensors can be installed to detect both heat and movement within the load area.
  • Load Area Siren and Bracket: An additional 120DB siren and anti-sabotage housing can be installed into the van’s load area, sounding simultaneously with the engine bay siren.

 

 

Pickup Protection
  • The L4V Alarm can be installed on a range of commercially used pickups, including the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-Max and Volkswagen Amarok.
  • This alarm system extends to secure pickup canopies, through sensors detecting impacts and movement.
  • This is in addition to all of the features found in the L4V Van Alarm's cab protection, including the anti-sabotage battery backup siren, internal sensors, visual deterrents and door, bonnet and ignition protection.
  • The L4V Pickup Alarm is also compatible with Truckman's range of canopies.
